Advances in Integrative Omics and Applied Biotechnology (AIOAB) is an open access, peer-reviewed international journal that publishes approaches to tackling system biology issues, combining various omics disciplines with the perspective of applying such technologies in agriculture, industry, and biomedicine.

Editor profiles

Kenichi YoshidaKenichi Yoshida is currently Associate Professor at Laboratory of Molecular Developmental Biology in the Department of Life Sciences at the Meiji University. Following a PhD in Institute of Medical Sciences at the University of Tokyo in 1999, he joined the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School at Boston as a Postdoctoral Fellow. He moved to Biomedical Laboratories in Sankyo Co., Ltd. at Tokyo and next was appointed to an Assistant Professor in Institute of Medical Sciences at the University of Tokyo. In 2004 he was appointed to a Principal Investigator in the laboratory at the Meiji University.


Nirmal GangulyNirmal Kumar Ganguly is President of the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), and the Asian Institute of Public Health. Professor Ganguly has published 755 research papers and has supervised 130 Ph.D. students in the fields of immunology, biotechnology and public health, with particular emphasis on tropical, cardiovascular and diarrhoeal diseases. He has received 110 Awards over his career and in 2008 he received the Padma Bhushan Award in the field of Medicine from the President of India. He is the former Director General of the Indian Council of Medical Research, and currently is an Adjunct Professor at Boston University and the University of Minnesota and a member of the Scientific Board of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
